I put Marijuana first on the slideshow and discussed that it's often the gateway into these other drugs. In this way, the other severe, gross, dangerous, fatal effects that the later slides show can be Marijuana's ultimate effects too if it's the drug that led teens to those other drugs!\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e \u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe focus for this lesson is that Marijuana is a sneaky drug that many teens feel is safe to use. While it is true that you don't hear of Marijuana overdose and it is legal in most states for medical use, (and many states for recreational use as well) Marijuana\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cins\u003eis addictive.\u003c\/ins\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eIt also causes \"\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cins\u003eAmotivational Syndrome\u003c\/ins\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e,\" where teens can begin to lose their motivation for school attendance, grades, sports or family.
